Instructions for Service Requirements

The Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Program

WHEN: See below for course dates; 9am – 2pm (arrive NO LATER than 8:45am as doors will be locked at the start of the program, with no way of gaining entry).

WHERE:  The Youth Opportunity Center, 1704 Charlotte Avenue, Suite 200, Nashville, Tennessee 37203.

Cost: $100 payable by credit, debit, cahs or money order.

Please have the following information available when you register: Your NAME, PHONE NUMBER, MAILING ADDRESS, WHAT PROGRAM DATE YOU WILL ATTEND and IF YOU WILL NEED AN INTERPRETER.

Enter the main lobby through the front door and take the stairs up to the second floor.  A staff member will be present to direct you to the sign-in desk.

***An elevator is also available in the main lobby for individuals with disabilities.  When you register, please inform Nashville Prevention Partnership that you will need to utilize the elevator.***

*** If you require an interpreter, you may choose to bring a family member or friend with you to the program to interpret.  If you do not have someone available, you will need to let a NPP staff member know upon registration, so that proper arrangements can be made for you. ***  

Conditions of the TRAINING FOR INTERVENTION PROCEDURES (TIPS) PROGRAM:

1. You must bring your DRIVER’S LICENSE or another type of PHOTO IDENTIFICATION with you to the program.    

2. The course fee is $100.  You must pay the entire $100 prior to the start of the program.  NPP will accept payment in the form of credit card, debit card, or prepaid card.  Call staff members listed above for special consideration.

3.  You must register for the program one day prior to your selected program date. 

4.  You must attend the TIPS Program within 90 days after your court date.

5.  You will be informed by phone or email if your program date must be rescheduled.

6.  You will receive a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the program.  Your certificate will be confirmation of your completion for the court.
